Information Resilience Symposium 2022

November 14, 2022
UQ Customs House, 399 Queen Street, Brisbane City

This month we hosted the inaugural Information Resilience Symposium at Customs House in Brisbane, focused on creating value with information resilience in the public sector.

Public sector agencies are experiencing immense opportunities to leverage greater availability of data to modernise their operations, embark on digital transformation, and enhance citizen-facing services.

We welcomed leaders from across government, industry, and academia to the event, and showcased the work underway in the Centre, discussed the challenges and opportunities for information resilience in the public sector, and fostered strong collaborations between our stakeholders.

Our thanks to our wonderful organiser Ida Asadi Someh and fantastic line up of speakers and facilitators: keynote talk from Andrew Burton-Jones; research perspectives from Hassan Khosravi, Sen WANG, and Wen Hua, facilitated by Marta Indulska; practice perspectives from Alison Holt, Stan Gallo, and Katherine Love, facilitated by Geoff Clarke; and our interactive roundtable discussions facilitated by Ivano Bongiovanni.
