Stefano undertook a project Bias and Fairness in Machine Learning in Data Science supervised by Associate Professor Gianluca Demartini from February to August 2024. This research investigated the use of human-generated data for the improvement of machine learning models.

Stefano is a recent master’s graduate in Computer Science from Politecnico di Milano, Italy, specializing in Data Science. He completed his degree in December 2023 and subsequently relocated from Italy to Australia. In October 2024, he commenced his PhD in the School of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at The University of Queensland.
