Riccardo Lunardi is a visiting researcher in CIRES from January to April 2026 collaborating with CIRES CI Prof Gianluca Demartini on the project “Investigating the Impact of Persona-Steered Large Language Models in the Medical Domain”.

Riccardo’s research aims to develop AI tools that assist healthcare professionals in identifying and coding disability indicators accurately in clinical documents. By applying Natural Language Processing and Artificial Intelligence, his research will improve the consistency and interoperability of clinical data, making disability assessments clearer and more uniform across healthcare practices.
