On 12th November 2025, the UQ Centre for Enterprise AI hosted the workshop “Getting from Proof of Concept to Production for Enterprise AI.” With over 50 participants joining from industry, government, and academia, the conversation focused on the systematic challenges facing organisations in implementing Enterprise AI at scale, and the key measures to consider when evaluating success in AI adoption and integration. The panel discussion moderated by Nicole Hartley focused on unlocking AI value beyond POC and what it takes to get there. Panel members were Ryan van Leent (SAP), Nathan Bines (Qld Gov’t), Ida Asadi (UQBS) and Joel Mackenzie (EECS), with the event led by CIRES Centre Director, Prof Shazia Sadiq, and CIRES Centre Research Director, Prof Marta Indulska (photo below).
