Call for participation: UQ AI PhD Showcase 2025

Thursday 26^th and Friday 27^th June 2025, Hawken Engineering Building 

You are invited to join a two-day catered event on Thursday 26th & Friday 27th June 2025 at the St Lucia Campus, hosted by the UQ AI Research Network. The event will include a keynote address, presentations and posters of AI related projects by academics and students, an expert panel discussion, prizes, and social networking. This showcase brings an opportunity for UQ PhD students and academics to share knowledge and expertise, and importantly, build our community for exploring synergies and developing collaborations around AI.

Who should attend the 2025 UQ AI PhD Showcase?

This event is open to all currently enrolled PhD researchers at The University of Queensland, working with AI in their research project. The showcase offers the opportunity to explore and understand cutting-edge AI practices, pathways towards academic or industry careers, and prospects of next generation research in the field.

How To Apply

The UQ AI Research Network invites PhD students working in Artificial Intelligence (AI) to share their work through a presentation (oral/poster/demo) at the UQ AI PhD Showcase.

To be considered for a place at the 2025 UQ AI PhD Showcase, please submit the online application by Friday 6^th June 2025.

This is an in-person event and open to currently enrolled PhD students at The University of Queensland.

There is no registration charge to attend the 2025 UQ AI PhD Showcase.
