Dr Iris Beerepoot

Dr Iris Beerepoot is a Researcher and Lecturer at Utrecht University, where she is a member of the Business Process Management & Analytics research group. Her research is focused on process mining; in particular the extent to which reality is reflected in the event data and the use of other techniques and data sources to complement the data to better reflect reality.

Dr Beerepoot visited the CIRES Centre in April 2024. During her month long visit, she presented a seminar on On Mining Work, Workers and Workarounds which explored new forms of process mining that provide broader insights into work as a whole, and end with a discussion on collecting the required data through personal data donation.
