Dr Stanislav Pozdniakov

Stanislav (Stas) Pozdniakov joined the Centre as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in October 2023 and was based at The University of Queensland. He completed his PhD in Information Technology at Monash University, where he focused on the design and evaluation of human-centred learning analytics for university teachers. During his time with the Centre, his research  explored the use of Generative AI & Large Language Models in education, Learning Analytics Dashboards and Visualisation Literacy, & Human-Centred Learning Analytics, building strong interdisciplinary collaboration with researchers across education, HCI, and AI.

In September 2025, Stas left the Centre to join the UQ Business School as a Data Scientist, working with Professor Janet McColl-Kennedy in the Innovation Pathways Program for Australia’s Food and Beverage Accelerator (FaBA) as part of the Trailblazer Universities Program. Stas is looking forward to contributing his expertise to the mission of creating smart, sustainable food solutions & boosting the Australian food and beverage manufacturing sector.
