Dr Stanislav Pozdniakov

Stanislav (Stas) Pozdniakov joined the Centre as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in October 2023 and is based at The University of Queensland. He completed his PhD in Information Technology at Monash University, where he focused on the design and evaluation of human-centred learning analytics for university teachers.

His previous research involved the design and evaluation of user interfaces in the context of knowledge work, computer science education, and learning analytics for teachers. His research interests broadly relate to social computing with a focus on EdTech, learning analytics, information visualisation, and human-centred data science. His current research aims to explore the use of GenAI and Large Language Models for education.

He will work closely with Associate Professor Hassan Khosravi and Professor Shazia Sadiq. He is keen to collaborate with researchers across the Center and contribute to the CIRES research agenda.
