Dr Thomas Taimre

Thomas Taimre is Senior Lecturer of Mathematics and Statistics and received his BSc (Mathematics and Statistics) in 2003, BSc (Hons. I, Statistics) in 2004, and Ph.D. (Mathematics) in 2009, all from The University of Queensland, Australia. His current research is at the interface of probability theory, computer simulation, and mathematical optimization with biological and other scientiﬁc, engineering, and ﬁnance disciplines.
