Jay Thai Duong Huynh

Jay Thai Duong Huynh joined CIRES as a Data Engineer in July 2024. He works closely with Chief Investigator Associate Professor Gianluca Demartini, in data curation and human computation research, including constructing crowd-sourced data curation processes. Jay’s strong technical skills include cloud computing, crowdsourcing, data pipelines, and ETL processes, Data Mesh/Data as a Product/API, building and deploying platforms for data extraction and analytics. He is providing key engineering support for the development of the Centre’s Information Resilience Toolkit.

Jay has a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Software Engineering from The University of Queensland and previously worked as a research assistant at UQ.
