Kate is the Centre and Operations Manager for CIRES and is responsible for coordinating the operations and administration of the Centre. She has 16 years’ experience in the tertiary sector, specialising as a research centre manager. She joined CIRES and the University of Queensland in June 2021 after leaving the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) where she was the Centre Manager for the Australian Research Council (ARC) Centre of Excellence for Robotic Vision and the QUT Centre for Robotics. Kate is passionate about creating welcoming and inclusive workplaces and dedicated to creating supportive research training environments.
