Lei Chen is a Professor with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). He is an ACM Distinguished Scientist and became an IEEE Fellow in 2020 for his contributions to time series management and spatial crowdsourcing. His research interests include Data-Driven Machine Learning, Crowdsourcing-based Data Processing, and Web Data Management.
